Publication process

Since the Church History Review is using the Open Journal System, authors are now required to register and submit their papers and articles via the Make a Submission page. Please upload your paper according to the desired category and also fill in any attachments in English that the system requests or offers. It is not necessary to fill in English, it is enough to insert Hungarian in all the fields, a member of our staff will do the translations and language checking. If you have an Orcid registration, please enter it as well. Each author will also have his/her own author page on the website, where his/her own studies and writings will be listed. The desired length of abstracts is 200-250 words. DOI links will be validated within a few days after online publication. After that, all articles will be uploaded to the REAL repository and then to MTMT. Authors are kindly requested to wait until the process is finished and then assign their articles uploaded to MTMT to themselves. This will avoid incomplete articles being uploaded, as they will include links to the REAL repository and the Church History Review site, together with the DOI. Unfortunately, if Authors upload their articles to the MTMT system on their own, we do not have access to make up these links afterwards.
